Upcoming Mendelian Society open lecture

There will be an Open Lecture hosted by the Mendelian Society in Lund on 22nd November, 2023.

Dag Ahren, (Lund University): Genome sequencing and its impact on Life Science research.

Genome sequencing has made remarkable progress in the past decades, triggering many exciting scientific advancements in the field of life science. The impact of genome sequencing on many life science research topics have paved the way for novel insights into the architecture and diversity of genomes across the tree of life. Dag will give an overview, a bit of history, the current state of genome sequencing followed by some views of future developments in the field.
